Upstate NY

parish ny snow.jpg

This is what 118" looks like in Parish, NY! Of course the reporter couldn't get to Redfield, NY because they've had 146" of snow in the last 9 days. And there's more snow and sub-freezing temps to come tomorrow, thanks to a storm brewing in Tennessee. I hope Tammi brought snow boots. I thought I'd post this just to give the rest of us gratitude that we're not snowed in as they are. Do you see the people clearing off the roof's?

Of course for those thinking global warming, keep in mind that the record snowfall in one year is held by the lovely town of Hooker, NY with a total accumulation of 466.9 inches that fell in the winter of of 1976-77. So you see, things aren't all THAT bad.

Anyway, I'm working on a special edition of Musical Monday (which I'll post later) for some very special people. Enjoy life till then.

That's some snow. *grin*

It must be global warming - they should give up those SUV's and they wouldn't have so much snow. LOL.

What a picture. In a way makes me miss living up north.
