Honey, I'm Home!

Well, after several months of doing battle with Carpel Tunnel, and after a week of trying to tame the dragon that is Moveable Type, I finally surrendered after wrecking this site. I asked for help and I received it in spades.

I wrote about my frustration and challenges in detail at my old site. Bad, my adopted Blog Dad, having read that I wanted to take a sledge hammer to the problem, put out an APB about my difficulties, which helped because I received really great links. All of which made me realize that in the last 5 years, HTML and Java have changed significantly so as to make what I know insufficient and/or obsolete. I feel like a dinosaur.

Anyway, I really do appreciate the wonderful and supportive emails with links to good documentation sites. Thank you all for your kindness and concern.

However, my move would not have been possible without the help of the awesome Madfish Willie of Madfish Willie's Cyber Saloon, who took time out from his busy life to help give birth to this site. Without his help and his hands, I would not be up and running today.

I also have to thank Pixymisa, our administrator extraordinaire for helping with the restoration of my site after I accidently trashed it. Pixy and Madfish have been incredibly patient with this rusty, ancient and outdated techie. Now that I've made the move I have no choice but to learn XTML, JS, MT and CSS. Sigh, I've got my reading list for the next year just from this alone.

I guess I should put up a wish list, huh?

Feel free to let me/Madfish know what you think of the place. All comments welcome.

Ms Michele:

How about adding a touch more color here. Maybe color the post title like the green hover. Plus I need to do a bit od tweaking for the margins/padding on the right side of the main column. Let me know if that's OK and I'll knock it out real fast tomorrow sometime.
